GYU MYOUNG LEE is a Professor at the Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), UK. He received the BS degree from the Hong Ik University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1999, and the MS and PhD degrees from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 2000 and 2007. He is with the Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), United Kingdom, as reader from 2014 and with KAIST Institute for IT convergence, Korea, as adjunct professor from 2012. Prior to joining the LJMU, he has worked with the Institut Mines-Telecom, Telecom SudParis, France, from 2008. Until 2012, he had been invited to work with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Korea. He also worked as a research professor with KAIST, Korea and as a guest researcher with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in 2007. His research interests include Internet of things, future networks, multimedia services, and energy saving technologies including smart grids. He has been actively working for standardization in ITU-T, IETF, and oneM2M, etc. In ITU-T, he currently serves as a WP chair in SG13, the Rapporteur of Q16/13 and Q4/20 as well as the chair of FG-DPM.

Qinmin Yang received the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Civil Aviation University of China, the Master of Science Degree in Control Science and Engineering from Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He has been an advanced system engineer with Caterpillar Inc., and a Post-doctoral Research Associate at University of Connecticut. Since 2010, he has been with the State Key Laboratory of Industrial Control Technology, the College of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, China, where he is currently a professor. He has also held visiting positions in University of Toronto and Lehigh University. He has been serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, Transactions of the Institute of Measurement and Control, Processes, and Automatica Sinica. His research interests include intelligent control, renewable energy systems, smart grid, and industrial big data.

Prof. Xie Ming

Xie Ming is holding the positions of Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is the Co-founder of the International Journal of Humanoid Robotics (SCI/SCIE indexed), Co-founder of Singapore-China Association for Advancement of Science and Technology, Co-founder of Robotics Society of Singapore. In terms of scientific research, he has published three books, two edited books, several book chapters, over 10 patents of invention, over 30 research papers in scientific journals and over 100 research papers in international conferences. His research interests include machine intelligence (cognitive vision, natural language understanding), humanoid robotics (design, control, biped walking, mobile manipulation) and autonomous vehicles (perception, planning, and control).

Pavel Loskot joined the Zhejiang University, China in January 2021 as the Associate Professor after being nearly 14 years with Swansea University in the UK. He received his PhD degree in Wireless Communications from the University of Alberta in Canada, and the MSc and BSc degrees in Radioelectronics and Biomedical Electronics, respectively, from the Czech Technical University of Prague in the Czech Republic. He is the Senior Member of the IEEE, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK, and the Recognized Research Supervisor of the UK Council for Graduate Education. His current research interest focuses on problems involving statistical signal processing and importing methods from Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science to other disciplines in order to improve the efficiency and the information power of system modeling and analysis.

Prof. Dimitrios Karras

Dimitrios A. Karras received his Diploma and M.Sc. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece in 1985 and the Ph. Degree in Electrical Engineering, from the NTUA, Greece in 1995, with honours. Since 1/2019 is Associate Prof. in Digital Systems and Intelligent Systems, Signal Processing , in National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, School of Science, Dept. General. His research interests span the fields of pattern recognition and neural networks, image and signal processing, image and signal systems, biomedical systems, communications, networking and security. He has served as program committee member in many international conferences, as well as program chair and general chair in several international workshops and conferences in the fields of signal, image, communication and automation systems. He is, also, former editor in chief (2008-2016) of the International Journal in Signal and Imaging Systems Engineering (IJSISE), academic editor in the TWSJ, ISRN Communications and the Applied Mathematics Hindawi journals as well as associate editor in various scientific journals.

Prof. Fairouz Kamareddine's academic career is at the interface of Mathematics, Logic and Computer Science, where she has been involved in a number of worldwide consultancy assignments at various levels of institutions ranging from universities to the United Nations. She gained her PhD in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh in 1989. She has held academic and research positions in the Netherlands, France and the UK, as well as numerous visiting invitations to Japan and the USA. Fairouz Kamareddine has been involved in a number of worldwide consultancy assignments, especially on education and research issues working for United Nations and the EU. Her research interest includes Interface of Mathematics, Logic and Computer Science. She has held numerous invited positions at universities worldwide. She has well over 200 published articles and a number of books. She has played leading roles in the development, administration, and implementation of interdisciplinary, international, and academiccollaborations and networks.

Carlos Becker Westphall received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the D.Sc. degree in computer science from the Université Toulouse III–Paul Sabatier, France, in 1991.,He is currently a Professor with the Department of Informatics and Statistics, the Federal University of Santa Catarina, and the Leader of the Networks and Management Laboratory. He was the founder of LANOMS. He has contributed to Elsevier as editorial board member of the ''Computer Networks Journal''; to Springer as board of editors and senior technical editor of the ''Journal of Network and Systems Management''. He acted as a local group coordinator in the European MAX/ESPRIT II project which involved the Alcatel- TITN, British Telecom, HP, CSELT, SIRTI and NKT Companies.

Dr. Nallappan Gunasekaran received the Ph.D. degree from Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, India, in 2017, in mathematics. He was a Research Fellow in the Research Center for Wind Energy Systems, Kunsan National University, Gunsan, South Korea, from May, 2017 to September, 2018. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Department of Mathematical Sciences, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Saitama, Japan, from October, 2018 to September, 2020. He was as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Department of Advanced Science and Technology, Toyoto Technological Institute, Japan from October, 2020 to May, 2023. Now, he is working as an Associate Professor, Eastern Michigan Joint College of Engineering, Beibu Gulf University, China. His research interests are Deep learning for natural language processing, Machine learning, Artificial intelligence in games, Complex-valued NNs, Complex dynamical networks, Control theory, Stability analysis, Sampled-data control, Multi-agent systems, T-S fuzzy theory, and Cryptography, etc. His also interested in the application of machine learning to health, bioinformatics, and computer vision. Dr. Gunasekaran serves as a reviewer for various SCI journals. He has authored and co-authored of more than 90 research articles in various SCI journals.
